Portrait of Nora

Nora Sprinkle

Owner and Founder
Aging Life Care Professional®
Certified Dementia Care Consultant

Nora’s passion for working with older adults began when she was just nine years old. She distinctly recalls riding her bike to a local park and seeing an older couple sitting together on a park bench. What deeply moved her at that young age was witnessing the love between the couple as they held hands, even in their later years. This scene left a lasting impression on Nora and inspired her to pursue a minor in Gerontology while in college. During her time as a student, Nora formed a close friendship with a very special 98-year-old woman, whose influence on her life only strengthened her desire to work in field of aging.

Nora’s career began at Sunrise Senior Living, working in independent and assisted living communities, developing care plans tailored to residents’ specific needs and community outreach. Subsequently, she joined the Alzheimer’s Association, providing counseling and education to family members, conducting training sessions for professionals and caregivers, and advocating for individuals with dementia. With this background, Nora transitioned to the role of an Aging Specialist at Centralina Area Agency on Aging.

In 2012, Nora’s uncle was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and she was called on to assist with his care. She witnessed the dispiriting and emotional toll her aunt faced not only to provide care, but also in understanding the challenges of the disease, researching options, and deciding on a path forward. Nora’s experience caring for her aunt and uncle, combined with her years of working in the field, convinced her that she could help others have a more positive dementia care experience. Inspired by this realization, Nora opened Simply Entrust to provide the same level of compassionate, personalized support she had given her own family.

Nora holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Gerontology from UNC Charlotte. She also obtained a Graduate Certificate as an Aging Life Care Professional from University of Florida and is a Member of the Aging Life Care Association®.

In addition, she is a Certified Independent Dementia Care Consultant through Positive Approach to Care®. Nora is proud to be a member of the organization founded by world-renowned dementia expert, Teepa Snow, and she incorporates Teepa’s methodology to guide her consulting.

Nora feels blessed to have a supportive and loving husband, four wonderful sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and two precious grandchildren. Her greatest treasures are her Catholic faith, family, and friends.
